Career Night 2015 Recap

CPH in partnership with South Bay Community Services and CVPromise organized Career Night 2015 for the greater Trojan community. The evening event was billed, “It’s time to spend an evening exploring your options.” Attended by over 400 students and parents alike, nearly 30 accomplished professionals and local leaders were on hand to share their career path insights with curious students. To kick off the event, Chula Vista Mayor Mary Casillas-Salas, SUHSD Superintendent Karen Janney and SUHSD Board Vice President Nick Segura provided a welcome followed by the evening’s headline testimonial from Frankie J, a Grammy-nominated Latin musician & SUHSD alumn. Students then dispersed to classrooms to meet, listen to and chat with speakers as diverse as CV Mayor Mary Salas, engineers, an attorney, a Superior Court judge, web designers, a Naval communications director, public safety specialists and more.
